Why was my tax information rejected?

If you’ve received notification that your tax information rejected, we recommend reaching out to the IRS to verify the information they have on file.

*NOTE* New Business EINs can take up to 3 weeks before they are updated in the IRS matching database which may result in your tax information being rejected.


If when submitting your tax information you receive an error message stating the information already exists on the platform, this commonly suggests you have a previous account on the platform and will be unable to add the same tax information. If you receive an error that something went wrong when submitting, please recheck your information and make sure the activation date is listed as the same date as submission.


To make a change to your tax information, you can access the Tax Info or Tax Documentation sections within your settings. Please note that any modification to the tax information will result in the info being re-sent for verification and have the same turn around time of 2-3 business days.
