BEFORE YOU BEGIN: You must add your tax information before you can add a payment account. Refer to Tax Information for more information.
- Under the Payments section of the sidebar, click Accounts.
- Click Add Account.
- Select your payment method and click Next. Refer to Payment Methods Overview for more information.
- NOTE: For Canadian bank accounts, we are required to verify the identity of users before linking the account. If you are adding a Canadian bank account, the Canadian Customer Identification Program (CIP) screen appears. Click Email Your Documents to submit a valid passport or your birth certificate and a government issued photo ID to the verification team. After your identification documents are verified, continue with the following steps to add your account.
- Enter your payment account information and click Next.
- Select an automatic funds withdrawal schedule.
- NOTE: You can withdraw funds at any time outside of your automatic withdrawal schedule. Refer to Withdrawing Funds for more information.
- Click Next.
- Complete the next steps depending on the payment account type.
Account Type Steps Bank account, Paypal, or Wisely card Review the payment account summary and select the checkbox to authorize ADP to make deposits and payments on your behalf.
Hyperwallet - Select either Individual or Business name under Register as.
- NOTE: The business name must match the name on your bank account.
- Enter your date of birth and click I agree to accept the Hyperwallet terms of service.
- Complete the required fields in the Select Transfer Methods window and click Submit.
- NOTE: You must enter your bank account information correctly. Invalid or non-existent bank accounts can result in a withdrawal return to Hyperwallet, which can trigger additional bank transfer fees and foreign currency conversion.
RESULT: Your Hyperwallet account is now added and available to use. You do not need to complete the remaining steps.
- Select either Individual or Business name under Register as.
- Click Add Account.
- NOTE: If an Invalid Account message appears, ensure that your account details are correct. You might need to contact your bank for assistance or add a different account.
- Complete the next steps depending on the payment account type.
Account Type Steps Bank account - instant verification No action needed.
Bank account - verification required - Wait 2-3 business days.
- You will receive an email when the verification process is complete.
Hyperwallet No action needed. PayPal No action needed.
Wisely card - Wait 7-10 business days for your Wisely card to arrive.
- Call the phone number on the back of the card to activate it.
