What is Multi-Factor Authentication?

As part of our ongoing efforts to continuously enhance our security measures, we have enabled multi-factor authentication across all WorkMarket user accounts providing an additional layer of security. Multi-factor authentication helps to protect your account by requiring a code in addition to username and password credentials to log into an account.

In addition to login and password, WorkMarket users will be emailed an authentication code that needs to be entered. Users who use an authentication app as their mutli-factor authenticator will continue this method.

Steps At Login

After initiating log in on WorkMarket, users will receive an email with a 6 digit authentication code to the email on file.

  • Check spam/junk folders and search for “WorkMarket: Verify It’s Me!” in your inbox
  • The email is sent from Hi@myworkmarket.com - please make sure this email is not marked as spam
  • The code will be valid for 10 minutes

After receiving the authentication, head back to the login page to enter the code.

  • There is an option to Resend Code if the first code was not received or it has been more than 10 minutes

Remembering a device

A code is not required for the same device at each login if users check the "Remember This Device." The multi-factor authentication code will be triggered every 45 days (default) or when logging in from a new browser.

Note: Don’t toggle this option on public computers or any other device that is not a device the user owns.
