What is Two-Factor Authentication?

At WorkMarket, we take your security very seriously. By enabling Two-Factor Authentication (TFA), you can now add in an extra layer of security to ensure that only you gain access to your account. On top of your WorkMarket email and password, we will ask for information that only you have: a verification code generated by a TFA security app or a recovery code.

How does this work?

Once you have set up TFA, we will request a verification code that is generated by a third party security app or a one-time use recovery code when:


  1. You log in using a mobile or computer device we do not recognize
  2. We haven’t asked you for a TFA challenge for some time


Why do I need to do this?


In order to configure Two-Factor Authentication, you will need to download a third party security app such as Google Authenticator from the Google Play Store or the App Store. This app will generate a verification code that you can use to pass the TFA authentication challenge. This extra step prevents other people from accessing your account even if they get a hold of your WorkMarket email and password.
