As you are aware from national media reports, last Friday, Dyn, a New Hampshire-based company that monitors and routes Internet traffic, was the victim of a massive attack that began at 7:10 a.m. ET Friday morning. The issue kept some users on the East Coast from accessing Twitter, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon, Tumblr, Reddit, PayPal and other sites.
We want to reassure you that Work Market security and your specific account information was neither impacted nor ever at risk. However, portions of our service that are enabled by internet routing were interrupted for a period of 6 hours.
We have since then used this experience to further our commitment to being a best-in-class technology provider, and have taken steps toward additional redundancy measures for future incidents. Our approach goes above and beyond many others in ourindustry, and reinforces our promise to enable our clients' productivity, engagement and growth.
We apologize to any disruptions in business that may have occurred during this unprecedented incident, and look forward to continuing our relationship.
